I really wanted a wreath for my front door for this Halloween season. Here is my best effort so far. This is certainly not my area of expertise, but I'm trying really hard.
I got a bunch of sticks that fell from my tree during the storm last week.
I spray painted them black.
With black twisties and hot glue, I made a wreath of sorts. It still needs something though. Is it TOO sparse? More branches, feathers, a big fat orange bow, spiders? PLEASE comment and tell me what you think.
Why not try making them criss coss like a spider web and put a spider off to the side.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Very Halloweeny.
ReplyDeleteI'm a feather fan myself!!!!! or maybe a black halloween-type silhouette hanging into the center???
ReplyDeleteOooo, I like feathers too. I have a huge bag of different colored feathers if you want to come over again sometime.
ReplyDeleteSomething small and fun.......like some EYES peeping through at several places and maybe just an orange feather or two near the eyes so as to make you wonder what sort of "being" is peeping at you (maybe the feather is part of an eyebrow ==think Dr. Seuss-type people)....You'll figure it out! xo mom
ReplyDeleteit needs a scary black bird!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the bare branch look... Looks creepier? I didn't know you guys had a crafty blog, how fun! I love doing mine with my sister.
ReplyDeleteNow that Halloween is over and it does you no good for this year I will have to say that I like the bare branch look too. (although I love feathers too. My wreath is all peacock feathers) Very creative! love it.
