gypsy skirt refashion

BEFORE: AFTER:

It is still really wrinkled, but we were too excited for her to try it on... couldn't wait. I got this skirt at Goodwill for $3. I got the inspiration/instructions here and she posts more pictures of different styles here. SUPER EASY!

refashion

This was a shirt of Todd's that he was getting rid of... Here is a blog with instructions and a lot of cute variations.
This used to be a skirt for me... now a dress for Lill Was velvet dress for Lilli and a scary sparkly shirt that my mom was getting rid of... Now a skirt for Lilli.

Was a skirt I got an clearance for about $3, but a size XXXX-something. Now a dress for Lilli and the old zipper became little rosettes. I also made matching hair flowers out of extra fabric.

maternity shirt refashion

This ugly maternity shirt turned into an adorable little girls shirt. I just did all the seams inside out and used one of her tank tops as a "pattern". I added some extra scraps of the t-shirt onto the right shoulder and just tacked it on. SOOOO EASY.

shirt refashion

I bought this shirt for Lilli for her birthday, but she never wanted to wear it. I asked her why and she said it was because it looked like a boy shirt (it used to be just a crew neck shirt). So I decided to play with it a little. I just cut the neckline and added some ruffle and flowers that were made out of a white t-shirt I didn't ever wear anymore. Much better and now she wears it all the time. It was fun working on it with her being right there telling me what she liked or wanted.
